hello ladies, gentlemen and everyone else and welcome to day 13 of milkas' expression corner !! today i'll be talking about **XENOGENDERS** !!
"Xenogender" refers to a gender identity under the non-binary umbrella that cannot be described by standard means, usually due to a lexical gap. they are often described with plants, animals, other creatures, objects, or sometimes just ideas. this is done to describe the gender in an understandable fashion, as it is described through concepts or metaphors due to the aforementioned lexical gap.
in that sense, a xenogender can be anything. it entirely depends on what the user wants it to be.
xenogenders are often paired with neopronouns relating to said genders.
some examples of xenogenders include:
digigender - a gender comparable to malware and viruses
ethegender - a gender that cannot be contained by human understandings
firegender - a gender related to fire in some way, shape or form
voidgender - a gender related to the void or emptiness
"Xenoidentities" are xenogenders that seem particularly interesting to someone, though they don't feel it fits them entirely.
xenogenders have been a hot topic of debate for a while among the transgender community, as many people don't respect xenogender individuals and feel that their identities are "not valid", and that xenogenders are just a children's trend. while it is true that many xenogendered individuals are children or childlike, they should still be respected because everyone has valid personal reasons to use such terms, xenogenders are valid and forever will be.
