hello and welcome wonderful ladies, gentlemen, neithers, boths and inbetweens to day 4 of milkas' expression corner !! i was unsure of what to talk about today, so i suppose i could touch on the subject discussed the other day and point out how the angry birds classic style handles piggy teeth in comparison to their size!

to begin, i suppose the first thing to point out would be that small minion pigs have 3 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth (i'll be labelling this as 3/2 going forward), and this is very consistent, meanwhile medium and large minion pigs have 4/3, though there are liberties usually taken in this regard, such as the "happy" expression showing 4/2, most likely just because it looks nicer and 4/3 wouldn't fit well due to the shaping of the mouth.

there is also the angry birds space level failed animation, which shows a space pig with 6/6, interestingly enough, though its mouth is wide open so this makes sense logically.

the helmet pig uses the exact same artwork as the medium pigs (and by extension the large pigs) with a helmet slapped on top, so everything applies the same, though there are some examples of small minion pig art reusage as opposed to medium minion pigs, such as the bad piggies skull with 3 top teeth.

mustache pig is clearly shown to use 3/3 most of the time, though he uses 3/2 in his scared expression, most likely due to reuse of the teeth from the small pig.

king pig usually uses 4/3, just like the medium/large pigs, there is an instance of space king pig using 4/5 though that's in a space level failed screen, where the minion pig from the regular version also has a lot more teeth. he is also shown with 4 bottom teeth when angry in bad piggies, meant to look like an underbite (which i personally love and wish we got more of)

mechanic pig and ross usually share a small pig's art, however there are some oddities: they are most often seen with 3/3.

this can be seen in ross' ingame sprites, as well as his recognizable scared expression artwork from ground hog day. for mechanic pig, it gets a little more complicated - he usually shares the same base as ross, sans the freckles and slap on the hat, so it's safe to assume he would do the same thing. however, there is one instance of it done, clearly as a delibarate choice.

in angry birds classic's bad piggies episode, there is a cutscene where he erroneously uses king pig's body. however, the teeth are delibarately swapped out for 3/3, which hints towards it being soemthing that he regularly does as well, despite his lack of artworks to show for it.

there is also an instance of mechanic pig using a medium minion pig as a base instead of the small one, so he uses 4/3 there instead, as well as some instances of the 3/3 not being implemented and the small pig's 3/2 being left over.

big bork, and presumably by extension the fat pigs, use 4/4, which is a fun way to keep the rule going, though it isn't seen very often.

the small pigs/blue pigs from king pig mode, for whatever reason despite being smaller than a small minion pig, have 4 top teeth. the reason for this is unknown, and it most likely stems from the designer for the king pig mode pigs not knowing about this rule, as it would be a really weird delibarate decision to do.

that's about everything i have on the subject, thanks for reading and if you have any comments or question feel free to ask away, and i'll gladly answer them !!
